Escape from the heat for La Speranza's "Summer Salon", a concert showcasing works written during the Romantic era for two or three instrumentalists. Join Houston's newest historical chamber music ensemble for an unforgettable evening of stirring virtuosity and fantastical storytelling through the music of Brahms, Schumann, and Bruch. Historical clarinetist Thomas Carroll returns to Houston with Ottensteiner clarinets from 1879 to join Yvonne Smith on gut stringed viola and Andrew Schneider on piano for this special performance you won't want to miss.
