The Russian Cultural Center Our Texas proudly presents Albina Shagimuratova, magnificent Russian coloratura soprano, who dazzled Houston Grand Opera audiences in recent years. Accompanied by pianist Tali Morgulis, Albina will give an intimate recital performance "Mozart and Rachmaninoff". The program includes seldom performed romances and opera arias for the coloratura soprano, such as “Exsultate, jubilate” (“Exult, rejoice”) by Mozart and "Daisies" by Rachmaninoff.
Albina Shagimuratova is one of the most distinguished stars of today's opera world. Albina, particularly known for her signature role as The Queen of the Night, is described by critics as a radiant soprano performing with a combination of vocal splendor and dramatic conviction.
