The Peoples Workshop - 2018 MOLA Awards

The MOLA, formerly the Sammy Award, is open to artists of all ages and disciplines. Beyonce participated as a Jr. actress, dancer, and singer. Some others in their formative years included Kirk Whalum, Yolanda Adams and Robert Glasper, Aspiring artists who pass the MOLA audition are nominated into the program and have the option of being taught and coached by master teachers and artists. Participants are evaluated by a voting panel of distinguished professionals. Recipients of the MOLA are those who demonstrate the highest level of excellence in the finals of pre-MOLA showcases.Read more
