Four badass women lose their heads in this irreverent, female-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror.

Playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle hang out, murder Marat, and try to beat back the extremist insanity in 1793 Paris. Into the Woods follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; Little Red Riding Hood, who wishes to find her grandmother's house; and Jack (of Jack and the Beanstalk fame), who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. The performance is centered around January a drag artist from Houston, TX. It takes us through her journey as an artist/performer in New York City. The show features local creatives, singers, DJ and HIV organizations and promotes HIV awareness, education, and access to honor the LGBTQIA+ community and those affected by HIV.Read more
