Health and Safety Update for March 12

Yesterday City of Houston health officials issued new guidelines that include the recommendations that some people avoid public gatherings, including people over the age of 60, people with underlying health conditions, and people who are pregnant. If you are in one of these categories, or if you feel sick with flu-like symptoms, please follow the guidelines and avoid large gatherings.

The City also cancelled events "produced, sponsored and permitted by the City through the end of March". However, this does not include events at MATCH.  We expect events to continue to take place at MATCH, although some presenting organizations may choose to cancel their own individual events. In these cases, we will contact ticket holders and refund money as quickly as possible.

For those events still taking place, we are doubling the frequency of our disinfection procedures and have made hand sanitizer and tissues available throughout the building.

We want everyone who comes to MATCH to feel safe whether you’re here to see a show or put one on.  If you have any questions, please contact us at info@matchouston.org.

Sincerely,
The MATCH Team
