General Venue Description
REHEARSAL ROOM
One large room (approx 60'x32') that can be divided in to 3 rooms (each approx 20'x32').
GALLERY
Approximately 3000 sq foot of gallery space with white walls, gallery style track lighting surrounding the full room and a finished natural wood floor. The Gallery does not have any theatrical lighting, or sound included as part of it's normal set up. The posted occupancy of this room is 204.
MATCHBOX 1
Seats 116 in the round, 86 straight on. Complete black box with moveable platforms for risers and gridded throughout for set up anywhere. Room has white walls behind black curtains for use as a possible gallery space. Two curtain tracks surround entire room with black masking to enclose room. The Matchbox 1 lobby is roughly 10'-6" x 10'-10".
MATCHBOX 2
Seats 153 with permanent seating on permanent risers. Stage is intended for dance and fully sprung with permanent dance floor. The lobby of Matchbox 2 is roughly 17'-9" x 29'-8".
MATCHBOX 3
Seats 144 in the round, 123 straight on. Complete black box with moveable platforms for risers and gridded throughout for set up anywhere. Curtain track surrounds room 4' from wall with black masking to enclose room. The Matchbox 3 lobby is roughly 12'-6" x 26'-6".
MATCHBOX 4
Seats 323. Proscenium stage with permanent projector and screen. The Matchbox 4 lobby is roughly 8'-4" x 66'. The alcove area inside the lobby is 7'-2" tall.
HVAC
The theaters, rehearsal room and gallery each have their own separate HVAC systems with independent control as well as isolated air circulation. The backstage areas (dressing rooms, hallways, etc) and the office suite each have a separate HVAC system with a common airflow throughout each of those areas with separate controls in various locations throughout.
The HVAC system in all of the theaters, backstage areas, rehearsal room, gallery and office suite have been upgraded with germicidal UV light purification systems. These systems use photohydroionization technology which is the same technology that has been used in the medical industry for decades as a method to destroy airborne micro-organisms (germs, viruses, and bacteria).
The filters on all of the units throughout the facility have been upgraded to MERV 13 filters.

Matchboxes 1, 2 & 3 do not have an orchestra pit or area designated for use by an orchestra
Matchbox 4 does not have a dedicated orchestra pit, however the area between the stage and the first row of the seating may be used as an area for musicians. Advance approval is required, please contact Director of Production.

Orchestra Shell
MATCH owns 8 Wenger Legacy Classic Acoustic Shell panels that can be used in any of the 4 spaces.
Each panel is 6' wide and can be raised to roughly 14' when canopy is in position.
Chairs / Stands / Lights
MATCH owns 10 Wenger orchestra chairs and stands. MATCH owns 15 Wenger conventional music stand lights.
*Chairs and stands are shared throughout the building by any client with music performance and may not be guaranteed for any one space. Please confirm your needs with Director of Production.
Dressing Rooms
Each dressing room is equipped with makeup mirrors and lights, two z-racks for costumes (hangers not provided) and one 18" wide by 6' long table.
- Matchbox 1 - Two dressing rooms each with seating for 8.
- Matchbox 2 - One dressing room with seating for 6. One dressing room with seating for 8. *One dressing room with seating for 13.
- Matchbox 3 - Two dressing rooms each with seating for 6.
- Matchbox 4 - Two dressing rooms each with seating for 5. **One dressing room with seating for 8.
Each dressing room has two additional chairs that can be used with the 18" wide table to increase seating capcaity by 2.
*The 3rd dressing room in Matchbox 2 may be requested by other theater when not in use by Matchbox 2. Matchbox 2 clients should specify whether or not they need the additional dressing room.
**The 3rd dressing room in Matchbox 4 has limited availability throughout the year. Please confirm availability with Director of Production.
Restrooms / Showers
The restroom facilities each have a single shower in them. The restrooms for Matchbox 3 & 4 are located in the hallway behind Matchbox 4. The restrooms for Matchbox 1 & 2 are located in the hallway beside Matchbox 2.
There is a single restroom without shower facilities in the Matchbox 2 and Matchbox 3 backstage hallways.
The restroom facilities should not be used as dressing rooms.
Other Facilities
Green Room
There is a shared break room space located in the hallway behind Matchbox 2 with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. Vending machines with drinks and snacks are located outside the break room in the hallway .
Because this is a shared area, clients should not set up their catering in this area.
MATCH does not provide coffee service or supplies.
Wardrobe
There are two wardrobe rooms in the building. Each wardrobe room has two washers and 2 dryers as well as a steamer. The shared wardrobe room for Matchbox 1 & 2 is located in the hallway outside Matchbox 1 and the wardrobe room for Matchbox 3 & 4 is located in the hallway behind Matchbox 4. Washers require HE detergents. MATCH does not provide laundry detergent.
Audio
Each theater is equipped with a full sound system which includes a rep house speaker set up, amplifiers, microphones, Clear-Com connectivity, backstage paging and dressing room monitors.
Playback
Each theater has a Tascam CD-200IL CD player and Tascam SS-CDR200 CDR player/recorder
Each theater has an iMac running Qlab4 and Qlab5 (audio and video). These computers are connected directly to the sound consoles to allow for multiple channels of output.

Clear-Com
Each booth has a two channel belt pack for the light board op and a comm station with headset for the sound operator.
Additional one and two channel belt packs are available. These are shared with all 4 spaces and total quantity available depends on the number of clients in the facility. Best efforts will be made to ensure that all spaces have adequate numbers of Clear-Com belt packs and headsets.
Clear-com connectivity is available throughout each theater space.
There is a portable HME wireless comm system, available for use in any of the spaces. This system is used on a reservation basis and must be requested ahead of time as part of the technical questionnaire process. This sysem does not connect to the built in wired system and must be used independantly. Please confirm with Director of Production about availability.
Connectivity
Each theater has microphone connections and audio tie-lines, as well as data tie lines available throughout the room. They can be found on panels located in various positions in the room. In Matchbox 1 and 3, there is a single panel on each wall with the exception of the wall with the booth where there are 2 panels. Matchbox 2 has 2 panels at the back of the house in the last row behind 2 removable seats, and then one panel on each of the other walls. Matchbox 4 has panels in the front of house lighting and sound positions and then one panel on each of the walls on stage.
Wireless Microphones
Matchbox 1 and 3 have 2 wireless receivers and is equipped with both wireless handheld microphones and lavaliere microphones. Matchbox 2 and 4 have 4 wireless receivers and is equipped with both wireless handheld microphones and lavaliere microphones. There are also 2 portable systems with 2 wireless receivers in each and are equipped with both wireless handheld and lavaliere microphones. These systems are available upon request and are not assigned to one specific theater.

Backstage paging
Each theater is equipped with a backstage paging system that addresses, the dressing rooms assigned to that theater as well as "common" areas like the break room and restrooms.
Portable Sound System & Portable Microphone Rack
There are 2 portable sound systems available that have a small mixer (PPM 1012) with an aux cable with adapters for iPhone and USB C. One of these systems also includes 2 wireless belt-packs (Shure ULXS4) and Shure ULX2 SM58 handheld wireless microphones available for use throughout the facility. The system that lives in the rehearsal room only includes the mixer with aux cable and adapters.
Assisted Listening Devices and Descriptive Services
Each theater is equipped with a "LISTEN" system that distributes audio to receivers that can be checked out by patrons for performances. This system monitors the in room microphone that feeds backstage.
There is a portable system that may be used for descriptive services. MATCH does not itself offer or provide descriptive services, clients will need to engage the person directly who will be doing the descriptive service to the patrons.
Batteries
Each theater has 8 rechargeable batteries and charger for use with the wireless microphones provided. Please bring additional batteries if you plan to use more than the base microphones or have other battery needs.
Video Monitors
Matchbox 1 and 3 each have a permanent video monitor in the control booth to view the stage.
Matchbox 4 has 2 video monitors mounted down stage left and down stage right.
Video Projection
Projectors
Each theater has a direct connection from the booth to the projector.
Matchbox 1
Barco PGWU-62L DLP 6000 Lumen Laser Phosphor projector which is mounted from the grid near the west wall (specifications). The projector is equipped with a 1.52-2.91:1 zoom lens and DMX contolled dowser. The native resolution is 1920X1200.
Matchbox 2
Barco PGWU-62L DLP 6000 Lumen Laser Phosphor projector which is mounted from the grid near the south wall (specifications). The projector is equipped with a 1.52-2.91:1 zoom lens and DMX contolled dowser. The native resolution is 1920X1200.
Matchbox 3
Barco PGWU-62L DLP 6000 Lumen Laser Phosphor projector which is mounted from the grid near the east wall (specifications). The projector is equipped with a 1.52-2.91:1 zoom lens and DMX contolled dowser. The native resolution is 1920X1200.
Matchbox 4
Barco DP2K-10S Small DLP Cinema Projector located in the production booth (product page). It is a 9000 lumen projector with a native resolution of 2048x1080. It has a BME .69" DC2K 1.7-2.55 Lens. The projector has a 2200 watt lamp in it. This projector can handle DCP files, but the theater does not have a 5.1 speaker configuration. There is an audio processor that will downmix the 5.1 signal to stereo.

Screens
Matchbox 4 has an automated 22'w x 14'h screen permanently mounted on the downstage side of the first catwalk over stage. Control is located in the amp room.
A 16'w x 9'h portable projection screen available for use in any of the spaces. Time and manpower to install projection screen must be incorporated in to rental period as the screen does not stay intact when not in use.
A smaller approximately 7'w x 4'h portable projection screen is available that can be set up quickly by one person and is for board room style projection use.
The white cycloramas in Matchbox 2 and 4 can be used as projection screens. This requires the black scrim to be tied up. MATCH crew calls are required to tie up and then to restore the scrim. Projecting on the cyc in Matchbox 4 gives you an image 25' wide and 18' tall. The lens in Matchbox 4 does not allow for adjustments to make the image any smaller than that.
The walls of Matchbox 1 are painted white and also may be used as a projection surface.
Monitors
MATCH has one confidence monitor (27" Samsung LED) available for use in any of the 4 theater spaces. Please coordinate use of the confidence monitor with MATCH Director of Production.
There is a 40" Samsung LED Television on a 65" mobile stand that may be used in any of the performance spaces or theater lobbies. Please confirm availability with MATCH Director of Production.
Playback & Control
Matchboxes 1, 2 & 3
Each theater is equipped with an iMac running Qlab 4 and Qlab 5. The computer is connected to the sound console directly by USB and has 4 audio channels patched as part of the repertory sound plot. An HDMI cable provides video signal directly to the projector.
A Samsung BD-J5100 Blu-Ray player and a Roland V-1HD Video Switcher are also available for use. Please confirm availability with Director of Production
Matchbox 4
Matchbox 4 also has an iMac running Qlab 4 and Qlab 5 (audio and video). The computer is connected to the sound console directly by USB and has 4 audio channels patched as part of the repertory sound plot. An OPPO BDP-103 Blu-Ray player is also installed.
Distribution Amplifiers
Each theater rack has a DA system for component video and intended for distributing SD backstage video signals to the dressing rooms.
One Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI DA is available as needed for splitting and "amplifying" signal when using the HD-SDI infrastructure and the Blackmagic HD-SDI / HDMI encoder decoders.
Connectivity
Each theater is equipped with SDI tie lines as well as data tie lines that can be used to route video signals from the room to the booth. Match has limited video cables and adapters due to the variety of connection and output options. Please check with Director of Production about what you plan to bring in and confirm whether we have the parts to support you.Blackmagic Design Micro Converters are available to send video signal though the HD-SDI tie lines in each space.
MATCH owns and assortment of video adapters, please confirm with Director of Production about any equipment you plan to bring in to the building to confirm that the correct adapters are available.
A video-over-IP encoder and decoder are assigned to Matchbox 4 for use with PowerPoint presentations from the stage. Please check with MATCH Director of Production about options for use in other spaces.
Matchbox 4 is equipped with a Dolby Digital Cinema Processor CP750 to allow DCP files that include 5.1 audio, to be downmixed to a stereo signal.
Streaming
Equipment
Each theater is equipped with a Sony SRG-360SHE Network Camera. These cameras are mounted at the back of each theater and are used as basic theater monitor cameras. Their signal can be split off to connect to a BlackMagic Web Presenter which creates a stream signal and can be directed to the MATCH ticketing portal or to a client's YouTube, Facebook Live, or other streaming platforms. A client may also bring in a videographer who can connect to the BlackMagic Web Presenter. Please confirm with Director of Production about availablity and streaming options.
Data connectivity is available in each of the theaters and gallery space and clients are welcome to set up their own cameras and streaming equipment.
Lighting
Repertory light plots
Each theater has a repertory lighting plot hung, focused and colored to a general stage wash based on the repertory seating configurations. Included in each rep plot are a number of "spares" that can be focused for specials as needed. The rep plot can be refocused and recolored by clients, but it must be returned to it's original condition including restoring focus, color, and cabling upon load out of client. Clients may request that MATCH hire staff to restore the plot which will be at the cost of the Client. When making changes to the existing focus, please make note of how the fixtures are focused so that they can easily be restored.

Matchbox 1has an ETC Element console
Matchbox 2, 3 and 4 each have an ETC Ion console
There is a ETC Net3 RFU unit that is shared between all 4 spaces.
There are 2 iPads available with the ETC aRFR app. iPads must be checked out from Director of Production and must be returned at the end of each work day.

MATCH does not maintain a full stock of gel. Rep colors will be replaced and maintained by MATCH, but any color that is not part of the rep is the responsibility of the client.
MATCH does not maintain a stock of gobos outside of the ones used in the repertory plots.
All equipment is shared between all 4 spaces and is first come, first served. Please coordinate with Director of Production for special requests.
Dimming
Matchbox 1, 2 & 3 do not have permanent dimming aside from architectural dimmers in MB 2. There are ETC SmartBars and Strand S21 Dimmer bars set up throughout each space with assigned addresses. Additional dimmer bars can be added to the remaining power outlets in the room to expand dimmer capacity of the room.
Matchbox 4 has 192 ETC Sensor3 Dimmers as well as power distributed throughout the theater for using additional portable dimmers.
In addition to the permanent and portable dimming, each theater is equipped with relay circuits distributed throughout the space. Matchbox 1, 2 & 3 each have 12 of these circuits, Matchbox 4 has 24 of these circuits. They are controlled through the light board and are used to power the LED fixtures in the rep plots. Spare circuits can be used as needed for switched power or to power additional smart fixtures.
Moving Lights
Moving lights are included in the rep plots in Matchbox 2, 3 and 4. Moving lights in Matchbox 2 and 4 are not to be moved from their rep position. Moving lights in Matchbox 3 may be moved at clients request, but can only be moved by MATCH staff at the cost of the client. They must be restored to their rep position at the end of the rental, by MATCH staff at the cost of the client.
Other Equipment
Eight 10' and eight 18' tall pipes and associated lighting bases are available for setting up side light in each of the theaters as needed.
Four 3 rung - 5' lighting ladders.
Limited additional lighting inventory is available that is not included as part of the repertory light plot. Please verify availability with MATCH Director of Production. Equipment is used on a first come, first served reservation basis.

Dance Equipment
There are 7 portable ballet barres available for use in any of the spaces. These barres are stored in the Matchbox 2 backstage hallway.
There are 6 pieces of 40' long and 6 pieces of 25' long Harlequin "Studio" floor that are available for use in any of the spaces (Matchbox 2 has permanent floor). Please confirm availability with MATCH Director of Production. MATCH does not provide gaff tape to put down dance floors. Please be sure to bring an adequate supply if you plan to use the portable vinyl dance floor.
A portable powered speaker is avaiable for clients to use for rehearsals when technicians are not called for a rehearsal. Please confirm availablity with MATCH Director of Production.
Rehearsal Rooms
The rehearsal room is one large room, approximately 60’x32’ that can be divided in to 3 separate rooms each approximately 20’ x 32’. The drop ceiling is 13’ from the floor.
The floors in the rehearsal room are Harlequin Studio vinyl floor over Harlequin Activity sub floor. Clients should take care to protect floor from damaging furniture or scenery. Please contact MATCH Director of Production to discuss any items being brought in to the rehearsal room.
One wall of the rehearsal room has mirrors. In rehearsal room 3, the mirrors do not extend to the wall and are only half the room.
There are 20 total chairs available in the rehearsal room, 10 in each of Rehearsal Room 1 and 3.
There are two 18”x6’ and two 4’x2’ plastic folding tables, 1 in each of Rehearsal Room 1 and 3.
There is a portable sound system with 2 speakers available in Rehearsal Room 1 and a powered speaker in Rehearsal Room 3. Each system includes an 1/8” (headphone) cable to plug in to phones or computers. There are USBC and Apple Lightning adapters available for both systems.
There is a rehearsal piano that is stored in Rehearsal Room 1 but may be used in any of the rehearsal rooms as needed. Please be sure to include details about piano needs in your rental request.
Nine 20” foam rehearsal blocks, stored in Rehearsal Room 3 are available for use in any of the rehearsal rooms.
