Join Mezclada Dance Company and Houston youth dancers for A Mezclada Christmas Special, a lively, family-friendly dance production inspired by the movie Elf. This original holiday tale follows Buddy the Elf as he discovers the diverse city of Houston and learns what it truly means to bring holiday cheer to his community.

Sent on a mission by Santa, Buddy sets out to spread Christmas joy across the city — from salsa clubs to jazz venues, skating rinks, and local neighborhoods. Buddy dances his way through H-Town, meeting new friends and sharing moves, music, and holiday spirit.

The show features Mezclada’s principal dancers alongside talented youth performers from Houston-area dance studios, blending multiple dance styles for a fresh and energetic twist on the classic local twist Christmas story. With festive lighting, set, holiday music, and dancing, the production creates an immersive experience for audiences of all ages.

Proceeds support Mezclada’s ongoing outreach programs and the company’s participation in the APAP Conference in January 2026.
