Love & Shuffles is a vibrant, heartfelt tap dance performance that explores love, life, and everything in between. All moments told through rhythm, movement, and music. The show marks the inaugural production of Hyperfeet Dance Company, a newly launched professional tap dance company dedicated to creating bold, engaging, and accessible tap works for today’s audiences. ​

Featuring an ensemble of exceptional tap artists from Houston and around the world, Hyperfeet Dance Company is led by artistic director and choreographer Matthew Shields. Together, the company brings a fresh voice to the tap dance landscape while honoring the rich traditions and musicality that define the art form. ​

Set in a timeless era and performed to beloved classic love songs, Love & Shuffles blends nostalgia with contemporary storytelling. The choreography moves seamlessly between playful, high-energy rhythms and tender, reflective moments aiming to capture the many shades of human connection. Whether humorous, romantic, or quietly poignant, each section invites audiences to see themselves in the dance. ​
