THE BOOK OF MARY (True Tales Told by a Lousy Liar), is a one woman work in progress, written and performed by local actor, Mary Hooper, and directed by Ted Swindley. Come experience a staged reading of this boisterous, bawdy and touching memoir - a journey from an unsettling childhood, to an affectionate portrait of Houston’s gay community, with a few peeks behind the curtain of the local theatre scene!
