The mission of the dance program at the University of St. Thomas is to prepare students from diverse backgrounds, with talent and potential, for careers as professional dancers, dance educators, dance graduate programs, and a variety of dance-related employment. Students will be able to pursue a rigorous education within the Catholic intellectual tradition, while pursuing a dance education with the highest professional standards. The dance program combines a theoretical and analytical approach to understanding dance with a practical approach through experiential learning.
