An Art & Wellness Experience centering Queer Women of Color
When Sisters Unite is an art and wellness gathering created to center the voices, healing, and collective power of Queer Women of Color during Women’s History Month. This experience invites community into a space of reflection, restoration, and storytelling through wellness practices and film.
The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a sound bath and guided journaling session led by Sha’na , offering participants a moment to slow down, breathe, and reconnect through reflection and intention.
Following the wellness experience, at 7:45 PM, attendees will view a screening of Black Lesbian Life Stories , directed by Janis Hutchinson , a powerful film highlighting the lived experiences and narratives of Black lesbian women.
The program concludes with a moderated panel discussion , creating space for conversation, connection, and deeper reflection on representation and community care.
This gathering is free and open to the public , with registration required. Donations are welcomed to support ongoing community-centered programming.Read more
