Fall 2026 Showcase

Bayou City Ballet Youth Company takes the stage in a program blending new choreography with classical tradition. The showcase features world premieres by choreographers Lindsay Cortner and Barry Kerollis, alongside two beloved classical works, the Grand Pas Classique divertissement from Paquita and the Garland Waltz from The Sleeping Beauty, both staged by Artistic Director Alex Pandiscio. Guest companies Creative Minds Collaborative and Ad Deum Dance Company join the program as well.Read more

Black Comedy is a one-act farce written by the British playwright Peter Shaffer. First performed in 1965, the play is famous for its unusual theatrical idea: although the characters believe they are in darkness because the electricity has gone out, the audience sees the stage brightly lit. When the lights come on for the characters at the end of the play, the stage becomes dark for the audience, allowing them to experience the characters’ confusion.Read more
