On June 20, 2019, in honor of the unrelenting perseverance of refugees from around the world, the Houston Refugee Consortium will celebrate World Refugee Day with the theme “Houston United Through Art.” The evening will highlight the creative contributions of refugees to our Houston community and will serve to inspire community connection that transcends differences.

Standby Process

If your desired price level is sold out, you can purchase a standby ticket during our box office hours by calling the box office at (713) 521-4533 or in person. For full information on how standby works, please visit our box office information page


Ticket Information

Admission is free, however, a ticket reservation is required. Seating is limited.

Seating is general admission (open seating). The theater will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance begins.

IMPORTANT: Unclaimed seats will be released at show time to anyone on a standby list.

If your schedule changes and you are not able to attend, please contact the box office so we may release your ticket to waiting attendees.

We cannot guarantee immediate seating after the performance has begun. Latecomers will only be admitted in a suitable break in the performance.

Wheelchair accessible seating is available to individuals who require wheelchair accessible seating themselves or to someone purchasing on their behalf.

Event Information

The estimated run time is 2 hours with no intermission.

This event is suitable for age 6 and up. 

No outside food or drinks are allowed on the premises.
