featuring "Aurora's Wedding" from The Sleeping Beauty
The Fall Showcase features an abridged staging of the third act from Petipa's The Sleeping Beauty , with principal guest artists Connor Walsh and Chae eun Yang from Houston Ballet performing the final wedding pas de deux.
The evening presents dancers of the Bayou City Ballet Youth Company in classical ballet, as well as in premiere neo-classical and contemporary works by Nao Kusuzaki and Lindsay Cortner created for the Youth Company. Please note the following safety guidelines for you visit to MATCH:
- In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are not required, but suggested, for guests who are fully vaccinated while in the breezeway and lobby areas. For those guests who are not fully vaccinated we ask that you continue to wear a mask throughout the theater and lobby areas.
- PLEASE NOTE: Bayou City Ballet is requiring all guests to wear a mask inside the theater regardless of vaccination status.
- All theaters are disinfected before each performance.
- MATCH has made hand sanitizer and disposable masks available in each of our theater lobbies.
- Food and beverages will not be allowed inside the theatre spaces.
