A Free Livestream of Philip Glass' Monumental Work Reimagined for Chamber Orchestra

Inspired by the Amazon River and its tributaries, Philip Glass' Aguas da Amazonia explores a vivid mixture of orchestral and percussive textures in the composer's signature style. Aperio performed the North American premiere of Aguas da Amazonia in 2017 to critical acclaim. Houstonia magazine praised the premiere as "a welcome flood of technical ambition" and Arts+CultureTX lauded Aperio's performance as "ebullient, vibrant...and riveting throughout."
