$35

Discover how Umm Kulthum used not just her voice, but her entire being, to weave narratives of love, loss, and cultural identity.

In the context of the Egyptian raqs sharqi world, how do we evoke emotions in our performances? From where? For who? With the music? The lyrics? With what intention? So many great questions to start our conversation. In this lecture you will gain a cultural perspective on the topic and how this can change your approach to your stagework.
