A collaboration of MatizArt and Flamart,The Sounds of Houston is a vibrant Broadway-style musical show celebrating the diversity that is Houston! The stage will be transformed into an evocative landscape of countries such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and others. A talented cast of over 25 professionals artists include musicians, dancers, historians, and others; taking the audience through the rich history of the many cultural influences in the region but that now can be experienced in Houston. From salsa to bomba to merengue and other popular genres, this production is design to make you move in your seat and experience the cultures.
