The Dichotomy of Hattie McDaniel an award-winning film written and directed by Vincent Victoria is the first narrative feature about the first African American Academy Award Winner, Hattie Mc Daniel. The film has won several awards on the film festival circuit including awards for Best Drama, Best Director, and Best Actress at the San Diego Black Film Festival, Best Feature at the Charlotte Black Film Festival, and Best Period Feature at the Virginia Black Film Festival.
Eight Notes to Heaven is a special World Premiere event that will open Vincent Victoria Presents' 2025-26 Season. The film will give a fictional but poignant account of the supposed rivalry of two of the most legendary stars of funk, r&b and pop music Prince and Rick James. Audience members are encouraged to wear either purple or red to the red carpet premiere to show where their musical allegiances lie.
