Dance Du Coeur presents Coalesce at Matchbox 2 on May 23rd, 2026. Coalesce is a collection of works from our Pre-Professional program featuring faculty choreographers Jesus Acosta, Carol Anglin, Dawn Dippel, Randall Flinn, Bria Greenwood, Paulina Guraieb, Olivia Morrow, and Seungyeon Yoo, as well as premieres by student choreographers. 

The Pre-Professional program at Dance Du Coeur spans ages 9-18 years old, and styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Progressing Ballet Technique, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, and Choreography Lab. Coalesce demonstrates the unity and integration of these unique forms and how they culminate in a year's work in the Pre-Professional program. 

The Pre-Professional program at Dance Du Coeur emphasizes the following:

• Artistic Excellence: Developing an artistic voice as a young artist that fosters innovation, critical thinking, and expressivity within the student's dancing and choreography.
• Technical Proficiency: Expanding the students' technique by integrating coordination, flexibility, stamina, alignment, and strength to flourish into mature and skilled movers. 
• Personal Growth and Discipline: Modeling leadership, kindness, respect, and maturity to form a discipline as an individual that prepares them for a future in dance.
