Know the Place for the First Time is a live, participatory solo performance by writer and performer Christa M. Forster. Born from both personal and collective rupture — including the aftermath of two devastating storms — this show is not about disaster, but what comes after.

In an age of distraction, disconnection, and ecological strain, Know the Place for the First Time invites audiences to return to their bodies, their breath, their imagination — and to the question: how do we fall back in love with our lives, even when they feel broken?

This is not just a performance. It’s an invitation to feel more alive.
