ABOUT THE FILM

When 16-year-old Jayla's family receives an eviction notice, long-buried wounds rise to the surface — and with them, the question she has carried for years: did her father leave because of her?

Used to Be is a raw, honest, and ultimately hopeful drama about what it means to hold a family together when everything is falling apart — and what it takes to open the door to healing, even when it hurts.
