Instead of performing Charles Dickens' beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to perform every Christmas story ever told - plus Christmas traditions from around the world, seasonal icons from ancient times to topical pop-culture, and every carol ever sung. A madcap romp through the holiday season! 

Join Creative Movement Practices as we close out our second season with a Holiday show that is sure to leave you feeling lighter than you came in the door as we explore the lighter side of theatrical movement in this comedic retelling of many of our beloved Holiday tales and traditions we grew up with. This show is also the first production of our Director Mentorship initiative that CMP is creating! One of our core beliefs is the importance of bringing equity into the rehearsal room and establishing healthy, collaborative rehearsal practices. In the past two years working with local actors, we have noticed the desire from many of them to learn more about the processes we use to create our art in a healthy way, and have thus decided to begin a mentorship program with aspiring directors to take them through the process from script analysis through full-blown production. 

Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) seemed the PERFECT show to kick-start our initiative off with as the material is fun, light-hearted, and requires actor collaboration for the show to be a smash hit. Come and celebrate the vibrancy of our city's up-and-coming artists as we re-invent what a rehearsal room should feel like while simultaneously producing great shows for the audience!
