DiverseWorks’ new Art + Climate CONVERSATIONS highlights artists and creatives that are leading the way on addressing climate-related issues through their work. Hear the inaugural speaker, nationally renowned choreographer and body-based artist EMILY JOHNSON discuss her work as a land and water protector, and organizer for justice, sovereignty and well-being.

Of the Yu’pik Nation and based in Lenapehokin, Johnson is a recipient of a Bessie Award, the Doris Duke Artist Award, and Fellowships from Native Arts and Cultures Foundation, Forge Foundation, Braiding Seeds, United States Artists, and Guggenheim Foundation, among others.Read more

Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) is a donation-based ticketing model that keeps performances accessible for all. Pay the recommended price, more if you’d like to support the artists, or less if needed—everyone is welcome.

  • Accessible seating available for patrons with mobility needs. 
  • $5 box office support fee applies to each ticket at checkout.
