Continuing our 10th Anniversary season, we explore Apollo’s beginnings and how its multicultural and folkloric focus was discovered. Program features composers who inspired Apollo to pursue programmatic concert themes connected to Houston’s and the United States’ cultural diversity, along with the inception of 20x2020.
Highlights include music of contemporary composers Karim Al-Zand, Malek Jandali, and Erberk Eryılmaz. World premiere by Karim Al-Zand, composed in celebration of Apollo's 10th Anniversary.
