Musica Tra Amici focuses on providing intimate chamber music performances in a relaxed environment.  This particular performance will feature the Tchaikovsky piano trio - a monumental work in which Tchaikovsky pays tribute to his friend and mentor, the pianist Nikolai Rubinstein who had recently passed away. 

As always, Musica Tra Amici is very proud to feature some of Houston's very own world-class artists to perform this very special trio. Renowned concert artist and Shepherd School of Music professor, violinist Cho-Liang Lin will be joined by principal cellist of the Houston Symphony, Brinton Averil Smith, and his wife, internationally acclaimed pianist, Evelyn Chen.

As always, following the performance, there will be a reception with a light buffet and complimentary wine where patrons can meet the performing artists and mingle with the other patrons.
