Parking in Midtown, like parking in Downtown, can be a challenge, and there are few places to park for free. We have managed to secure parking for tenants, staff, performers, technicians, and artists.
Free Parking
One free option for MATCH Tenants/Staff/Artists is the north lot of South Main Baptist Church (4100 Main St, Houston, TX 77002) on Main Street. We have an arrangement with the church that allows MATCH Tenants/Staff/Artists to park there for free and your car can stay there all day. The train runs on Main Street and that side of Main, the west side, is nice, going past the Big Top, Double Trouble, and Winnie’s. PLEASE PLACE A PARKING PASS ON YOUR DASHBOARD THAT SAYS ‘MATCH PARKING’, link to the pass is below.

On the Street
There is a fair amount of street parking in Midtown, much of which is free. Be careful though; some of the street parking is only good for certain times of the day. For instance, Travis and Milam must be clear for rush hour. Please check the parking signs. The easiest street parking is on the East/West streets, like Francis and Berry.
Paid Parking
Close to the MATCH is the Mid-Main Garage directly to the south across Holman Street. This garage is accessible through Travis St. or Holman St. and is open 24 hours.
Using a GPS? We have found that inputting 3505 Travis St. into your GPS or phone will take you to the entrance of the parking garage on Travis St.
Parking can be paid by credit card or cash at the designated pay machines. Parking rates are as follows:
5:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Please note that if you park between these hours, you are subjected to this rate if you stay beyond 6:00 PM.

- 1 hour or less - $3.00
- 1.5 Hours - $4.50
- 2 Hours - $6.00
- 2.5 - 3 Hours - $7.50
- Each Additional ½ hour - $1.50
- Daily MAX Rate is $15.00
- Lost Ticket is $15.00
6:00 PM to 4:00 AM
- First 15 minutes - Free
- 1 hour or less - $4.00
- Each additional 1/2 hour - $1.00
- Nightly Max Rate - $7.50
- Cars left after 4 AM - $15.00
After 9 PM
- Flat Rate - $6.00
- Cars left after 4 AM - $15.00
- Lost Ticket - $15.00
Please note that Travis St. is a one-way street traveling north.
When You Arrive
When you arrive, please meet at the Box Office and the House Manager will greet you there. If they are not present, communicate to the box office associate that you are an usher, and they will radio a house manager to come to meet you. The Box Office is located at the corner of Holman and Main St.
