Game City Showcase is the only free four-night, four-neighborhood event series within a 10-mile radius of Super Bowl 51 that targets local Houston residents, encouraging them to patron and support local retail stores, locally owned restaurants and other local non profit organizations in celebration of the BIG GAME. The Game City Showcase allows you to celebrate the Big Game your own way, by choosing from a list of free events and experiences for the night and week.
The Houston Mayor’s Office, Houston Super Bowl Host Committee, METRO, Former City Councilman Gordon Quan, Civic Leader Susan Young, Community Relations Expert Myra Johnson, Entertainment Attorney Sergio Selvera have joined forces to coordinate a four-day community event series Game City Showcase.
The event will be held the from Monday, January 30 through Thursday, February 2, leading up to Super Bowl 51 in four different Houston neighborhood districts; Midtown, Theater District, EADO, and the Museum District.
