Mission
The Houston Equity Festival is a collective of local professional actors, seeking to honor artists, celebrate playwrights, and enrich audiences. Actor Dain Geist spearheaded the creation of the Festival “While we may be individual artists,” says Geist, “Together we help to build a community.”
About
Five plays, planned for the summer and fall of 2019, all selected and produced by local members of the union Actor's Equity Association, and abiding by the Equity Members Project Code, are scheduled, in this, the inaugural year of the festival.
