Healing of HER Parts exists to amplify the voices of women through poetry, storytelling, and performance, creating space for truth-telling around the ongoing fight for women’s rights. Through the FEMMEnomenal poets of Ignite-Her, this production honors the legacy of the Ignite-Her Poetry Collection while confronting issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and reproductive freedom. Our mission is to transform lived experiences into art that educates, empowers, and ignites collective awareness and action.
Ignite-Her was born during National Poetry Month as a bold response to a simple truth: too many women’s voices were being overlooked, unheard, or silenced. What began as a literary initiative quickly grew into a movement—one dedicated to creating space for women to speak, write, and exist unapologetically on the page and on the stage.
Founded by creative publisher and nationally ranked poet EbonyRose, Ignited Ink 717 is an independent publishing company committed to amplifying the voices of the historically marginalized. As an indie publisher, EbonyRose has cultivated platforms that not only produce books, but build community, visibility, and legacy for emerging and established writers alike.
The Ignite-Her Poetry Collection, the company’s first anthology, marked a powerful beginning—bringing together women authors to tell their stories in their own voices. Today, that same spirit lives on through performances like Healing of HER Parts, where poetry moves beyond the page and into embodied, collective experience.
Ignite-Her continues to stand as both a platform and a promise: that women’s stories will be honored, their truths will be spoken, and their voices will never be dimmed.
