Ignite-Her: Words. Wrath. War.

Date TIme
Sunday, Oct. 11 7:00 PM Coming Soon
Ignite-Her: Words. Wrath. War. is not a performance.

It is a warning shot. A war cry. A throat raw from generations of swallowed screams finally choosing volume.

Conceived by creative publisher and nationally ranked poet EbonyRose, founder of Ignited Ink 717, this stage becomes sacred ground for the FEMMEnomenal poets of Ignite-Her—EbonyRose, Renee Blackwell, Skyy Danielle, and Tequila Smith—who do not arrive to entertain… they arrive to erupt.

This anniversary of the Ignite-Her Poetry Collection is not wrapped in celebration. It is wrapped in fire. This is what happens when women get tired of being palatable. When “be nice” expires. When survival turns into defiance.

Through poetry, storytelling, and theatrical force, four poets take the stage carrying truth like gasoline. They speak on what the world keeps trying to bury—domestic violence, sexual assault, stolen autonomy, the policing of our bodies, our choices, our voices.

And this time… nothing is softened. Each poem is a blade. Each stanza is a strike. Each voice is a roar that refuses to be reduced to a whisper.

Curated by EbonyRose, this production is not about healing in the way the world makes it pretty. This is the kind of healing that howls. The kind that breaks glass. The kind that says: you will hear me, even if it makes you uncomfortable.

Here, rage is not a flaw. It is a language. Wrath is not excessive. It is earned. And every story told is a refusal to disappear.

The Ignite-Her movement has always existed to amplify the voices of women pushed to the margins—
but this time, amplification isn’t enough. This time, we shake the walls. Because well-behaved women may not make history…but women in their wrath? Women who refuse silence, refuse shrinking, refuse survival as their final form?

They don’t just make history.

They set it ablaze. 🔥
