Since 2016, the LatinWE Foundation has offered scholarships of up to $ 2,000. Awardees have either enrolled in classes to learn English, obtain certification in their professional field or take alternative education courses such as culinary, dressmaking, jewelry, floristry and decoration to name a few. The scholarship includes counseling sessions with experts in different fields such as business, marketing, legal and financial to assist our members.
Tonas que Dejan Huella exists to recognize and amplify the stories of Latina women across generations whose resilience, choices, service, and life journeys have made a meaningful impact on their families and communities. Our mission is to create a space where real women are seen, honored, and celebrated—not for titles or status, but for the lasting mark they continue to leave.
About Tonas que Dejan Huella
Tonas que Dejan Huella – Awards 2026 is a community-centered recognition event created to celebrate Latina women whose lives and stories have made a meaningful impact across generations.
The event honors women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and a Legacy Tona age 70+, recognizing not only what they have achieved, but also what they have overcome, built, transformed, and contributed along the way.
Unlike traditional awards focused on titles, professional status, or public recognition, Tonas que Dejan Huella is rooted in something more personal: the power of real stories. It celebrates women who have rebuilt after difficult seasons, cared for families and communities, changed direction when life demanded it, created new beginnings, and continued moving forward with courage and purpose.
At the heart of the event is the belief that impact is not always measured by visibility. Some of the most powerful legacies are created quietly — through service, resilience, love, leadership, sacrifice, generosity, and the example one woman leaves for another.
Through community nominations, storytelling, recognition, humor, and shared celebration, Tonas que Dejan Huella creates a space where these women can be seen and honored.
Presented by Latinwe Foundation, the event also serves as a year-end moment of hope and gratitude — a celebration of what our community has endured, what it has learned, and the women who continue to leave a lasting mark on the people around them.
Because every generation has its own journey, and every woman has the power to leave a mark.
