About

Mercy Saez better known as MercyFlamenca is an international flamenco artist with Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Classical Spanish dancing fundamentals. She started dancing at three years old. When she was a teenager her mother motivated her to take flamenco lessons, when she took her first dance class, she knew this was THE dance form that she wanted to embrace to honor her Spanish heritage, empower and communicate with the world.

She has traveled the world to study with some of the Greatest Flamenco Artists. Some of these were Carmela Greco, Timo Lozano, Adela Campallo, Omayra Amaya, Inmaculada Ortega, Maria Bermudez, Marisol Encinias, La Meira, Maria Juncal, Rosa Zaragoza, Alfonso Losa, Jesus Carmona, David Coria, Ivan Vargas....

She has been privileged to share the stage with internationally acclaimed figures including Marisol Encinias, Timo Lozano, Maria Bermudez and Ivan Vargas...

Her company was chosen to open the PIANO Y VOZ tour from the acclaimed Flamenco singer and Grammy winner Diego el Cigala in Houston and McAllen, Texas in 2021. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfFBvCKhRrg

She partners with business owners from restaurants, wine bars, coffee shops, non profits, clothing stores etc around the city to produce wonderful events to bring a big crowd! Although her focus is to produce shows locally she also produces shows internationally, working with artists from all over the world!

A dancer by profession a philanthropist by heart; She frequently chooses different non profits to benefit with the proceedings from her performances, productions and master classes. It is her goal to empower the community presenting world class performances that will include local artists to celebrate greater cultural diversity.

No matter how small or big the audience is, there is always one common factor: passion. Her shows are always tailored to the audience, so there is always that magic moment when improvisation meets perfection!

She teaches flamenco dancing classes to kids, teens and adults and presents her educational series at the Houston Public Library. You can reach her at info@undebelflamenco.com
