A Rehearsal/Performance Class Production!

Main Street Theater Education Dept presents a faithful adaptation of A. A. Milne's first book of Pooh stories: Winnie-the-Pooh . Welcome to Christopher Robin's "100 Aker Wood," home of all your favorite childhood friends: Piglet, Rabbit, Eeyore, Owl, Kanga, Roo and of course that "hunny" loving bear, Pooh. Balloons, Heffalumps and Donkey-tails take the stage and everyone celebrates at a woodsy party. It is all about childhood exploration, the dreaminess of play and that careful, thoughtful, tentative business of growing up. Occupation, fortune and all those grown-up values mean little to Christopher Robin. What seems to matter most is in Eeyore's tender words: "A little Consideration, a little Thought for Others, makes all the difference."Read more

When the priest of the village arrives and tells the husband that he has found his wife and that she is behind the door, the stupefaction of the husband is total: this woman who presents herself as being his wife is not. But, to make matters worse, no one knows the "real" Mrs. Corban, given the novelty of this relationship. This Mrs Corban says loud and clear that her husband is amnesic and to confirm her words, she lends herself to an interrogation in order and gets a perfect score. Is he mad or is there a gang of criminals bent on him? A fantastic story follows immediately, where laughter and mystery intersect over the minutes and where the viewer sometimes has the impression of being in the trap…Read more
