Screening Indie Shorts and showcasing US and World Premiers from around the world. 24 countries from Argentina to Ukraine and all across the USA are participating! Live conversations with film Directors attending and Houston’s program artists. Readings from Texas Poets Laureate Octavio Quintanilla and Emmy Pérez, as well as Marie Brown, Chris Wise, Jane Creighton, and Alliah Lavonne Tigh.

Sunday morning programming includes films and performances by Deaf artists using American Sign Language, accessible in English. A portion of all festival ticket sales will be donated to poetry programs for internally displaced children in Odesa, Ukraine promoted by “ Poems Not Bombs .”Read more
