FMM's 2018 Premieres concert features world and Houston debuts of many composers and new works. We proudly introduce Eric Heumann, FMM Artist-in-Residence for the season, who presents a world premiere of his new piano work. We also explore some historical firsts including innovation by Mozart and our anchor work: a newly released piano quintet version of Darius Milhaud's La création du monde. Additional composers on the program are Colin Eatock (former Houston Chronicle music writer), Dan Locklear, and Tom Takaro.
