“Following the Passion for Music”

In 1990 Gonzalo André attended the celebrations of the 100th Birth’s Anniversary of Carlos Gardel, in an event that marked his life forever. At the age of thirteen he became a fan and collector of Carlos Gardel, studying his life and legacy and learning a repertoire of 350 tangos that made him at the age of 17, to become first singer in the prestigious Orquesta Típica of Domingo Rullo from Córdoba. Domingo Rullo was bandoneonist of Hugo del Carril and Libertad Lamarque in Buenos Aires. Gonzalo André sang for 7 years for Domingo Rullo until his death in 2001.

During 30 years he has performed a wide repertoire including folk music and opera, in television, radio and theaters in different countries. First as a singer, and then as a musician, dancer, composer, arranger, musical director, artistic coordinator.

This 30 Anniversary will resume his passion for music and the continuous exploration for a universal language that unites different cultures in two true feelings: Love and Joy.
