Creative Movement Practices

Treasure Island

by Robert Louis Stevenson; Adapted for the Stage by Sarah Sneesby

You are cordially invited to join us on an adventure as we sail through Davy Jones' Locker to find Treasure Island! Just like Stevenson's classic tale, our production promises sword fights, pirates, mutiny, and treasure as we follow our protagonist, Jem Hawkins though a coming-of-age adventure. This show has been written for adults, and then finessed with kids in mind to create an All-Ages Family Encouraged adventure that promises to delight and entertain across the generations!

"As a mother of two young children, I know that younger audience members are especially sensitive to loud noises, bright lights, and blackouts. To help make the adventure fun for all, we have slightly adapted lights and sound for the matinees, BUT we have added a sensory friendly performance where we will deliver an adjusted performance that will attune to the needs of the group while still delivering a swashbuckling adventure for you and your family!"
-Artistic Director Sarah Sneesby
