Healing of HER Parts is a powerful poetic stage experience from the imagination of creative publisher and nationally ranked poet EbonyRose, founder of Ignited Ink 717. This production features the FEMMEnomenal poets of Ignite-Her, Renee Blackwell, Skyy Danielle, and Tequila Smith and celebrates the anniversary of Ignited Ink 717’s first anthology, Ignite-Her Poetry Collection.
More than a performance, this is a living, breathing conversation about womanhood, resistance, and voice.
Through poetry, storytelling, and theatrical performance, four dynamic local poets and authors take the stage to confront the ongoing assault on women’s rights and the reality that the fight for freedom has never truly ended. The audience will journey through deeply personal and collective truths as the performers speak boldly on issues that continue to shape women’s lives today, including domestic violence, sexual assault, reproductive freedom, and the long struggle for the right to vote.
Each poem becomes testimony.
Each voice becomes witness.
Each moment becomes an act of reclamation.
Curated by EbonyRose, Healing of HER Parts invites audiences to experience what happens when women refuse silence and transform their lived experiences into art. What unfolds on stage is not simply poetry. It is resistance, remembrance, and radical storytelling.
The Ignite-Her movement was created to amplify the voices of women writers, particularly those whose stories have historically been overlooked, silenced, or marginalized. This anniversary performance honors the powerful legacy of the Ignite-Her Poetry Collection while continuing its mission: to ensure that women’s voices are not only heard, but felt.
Prepare for an evening of truth-telling, courage, and poetic fire as the FEMMEnomenal poets of Ignite-Her step onto the stage and piece together the fragments of HER story.
Because when women reclaim their narratives, healing becomes revolutionary.
