Casa Argentina de Houston (CAH) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization founded in 1970 to promote Argentine and Latin American culture and to support charitable organizations in Argentina and USA.

About

Casa Argentina de Houston (CAH) was founded 53 years ago to promote Argentine and Latin American culture and to support charitable organizations in Argentina and USA. Since 1970, CAH has sponsored numerous musical concerts, movies, and theater performances at different universities and community centers in Houston and nearby states. The organization has offered diverse entertainment for adults and children through sporting events, tango concerts, and festive gatherings such as the traditional “Asado Criollo”. CAH has collaborated with other organizations to build schools and provided equipment and financial assistance to hospitals, schools, and community centers in Argentina. CAH has also helped schools and charitable organizations in the United States by providing food, educational materials, and monetary donations for natural disasters. Casa Argentina de Houston is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that promotes cultural diversity and understanding and has no political or religious affiliation. CAH is funded through membership fees, donations from benefactors, and monies raised through cultural events. Casa Argentina's board members are volunteers.
