Houston Underwater Photographic Society

The Houston Underwater Photographic Society (HUPS) is a not-for-profit organization formed to encourage interest and participation in underwater photography and videography. At its monthly meetings, HUPS provides educational and entertaining programs, a monthly photo contest, and a convivial atmosphere of shared interests and camaraderie.

Recent programs have included a broad range of "how to's" of underwater photography, narrated slide presentations, video shows, and various special events including photo workshops conducted by recognized experts in the field. HUPS also sponsors dive trips that are designed specifically to meet the special needs and interests of underwater photographers.

HUPS meets at Bayland Community Center the first Monday of the month (except Monday holidays) at 7 pm.  All are welcome to attend. For information contact David Lenderman at Bayland Community Center, 6400 Bissonnet St. (near Hillcroft), Houston, Texas 77074.
