Rami Abushhab is a Palestinian award-winning actor and stand-up comedian based in Chicago, Illinois, known for his sharp storytelling, political commentary, and quick-witted crowd work. He appeared in a supporting role in BJ’s Mobile Gift Shop , an official selection of the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, and has been featured on major television series including Law & Order and Chicago PD . As a comedian, he was featured on Laughter Is Good For The Soul , which debuted as the number one comedy album in the U.S. on iTunes. A former varsity basketball player and fluent Arabic speaker, Rami currently tours internationally, bringing his dynamic and culturally insightful performances to audiences around the world.Read more
The new film by director Atanas Mihaylov – One Gram Life (producers: Atanas Mihaylov, Film Academy for Talents, Devil Cinema, Zipo & Slash) shines a spotlight on one of the most pressing issues of modern society – drug use. The true events portrayed in the film reveal the deep personal, family, and social consequences of drugs and profoundly affect the parent–child and child–parent relationship.
