Third annual short play and short film festival

La Vida Es Cortos/Life Is Shorts is a unique festival that presents short plays and short films to highlight the Latinx community, its artists, and its stories. Short films and short plays are seldom seen by the general public but even more rare is seeing Latinx arts featured in Houston’s prominent arts scene. In its third year, the festival will evolve by including dance performances and short dance films to create a Latinx multidisciplinary experience never seen before.Read more

TICKET INFORMATION

  • TEATRX tickets are "Pay-What-You-Will". As a Latinx Theatre company we believe in making theatre accessible. We understand that for some a $25 ticket is beyond their means. We want our audience to pick a ticket price that suits their budget.
  • TEATRX recommended ticket price for this event is $25. This by no means will cover the cost of the production but will allow us to make sure everyone is paid for their work. If you are passionate about advancing Latinx theatre arts and you have the means, please consider purchasing tickets for up to $45.
  • Seating is general admission (open seating). The theater will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance begins.
  • We cannot guarantee immediate seating after the performance has begun.
  • Wheelchair accessible seating is available.
  • Each ticket is subject to a $2 fee at check out.
  • All sales are final. No refunds. To reach the box office, call (713) 521-4533 or email boxoffice@matchouston.org.
