The Goethe Pop Up Houston is a temporary branch of the Goethe-Institut, the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. Our goal is to present contemporary German art and culture in Houston and help shape a current  understanding of Germany today. We stage a broad range of public programs and support projects in the fields of film, arts, theater, dance, music, literature, and more. Events take place in our space and at partner venues around Houston. We aim to explore current issues from both German and US perspectives and engage with Houston’s vibrant arts and culture scene.
