NMD’s mission is to make work that is emotionally daring and honest; inspires discourse and understanding amongst diverse communities; and focuses on innovative collaborations in the arts and sciences with an emphasis on emerging technologies. By following this mission, NMD has become an integral and respected part of the Texas dance community. The primary goals of NobleMotion Dance include the following.
NMD2 is a Pre-Professional Level Company for dancers ages 14 to 20. The focus of NMD2 is to cultivate the necessary artistic skills and professional excellence of dancers to prepare them for college/professional careers. The programming focuses on building self-esteem, self-confidence, and leadership skills through dance in a positive atmosphere. Students will train extensively in contemporary art forms; work with a roster of current choreographers on new works; and perform locally in the Houston area.
