Uptown Dance Company places a special focus on introducing audience members and dancers alike to new choreography, regularly performing premieres by renowned local and national choreographers. Every dancer who is a member of the Uptown Dance Company must possess proficiency in multiple dance disciplines, including classical, contemporary, modern, and jazz. This commitment to multi-disciplinary studies provides Uptown Dance Company the artistic freedom to choreograph movement without limitations.
