Sarhad - Partition: Stories of Separation is an experiential performance using music, theatre, video and design to retell the stories of separation as a result of the Partition of India in 1947, which resulted in the creation of two nations, India and Pakistan. On stage with Sonam Kalra is well known Indian theater actor Ruchika Chanana as well as an ensemble of musicians. Also collaborating with Sonam is one of India’s top visual artists, Gopika Chowfla.

The African Music Library in conjunction with Piql and Ibajie is excited to present to you Ki’mon! The Eastern Nigerian Afro-Funk Revolution: 1970-1980. Ki'mon! is a documentary directed by lawyer and historian Nze Ed Emeka Keazor, produced by him and veteran Afro-Funk drummer Eddie Offeyi, and executive produced by Muni King-Keazor, Obi Asika, and Ed Keazor. This documentary delves into the vibrant Afro-Funk music scene in Eastern Nigeria after the Nigerian Biafra War.
