Samskriti presents the extraordinary Dr. Apoorva Jayaraman in THE IDEA OF GOD, which asks the questions, is He the creator, or is he my creation? Does God reside in art, or is art a pathway to him? Do I seek 'him', or is 'She' in me? This solo dance performance will explore, through the medium of Bharatanatyam, the idea of God in Indian philosophy and thought through the exploration of previously unseen texts and narratives.
