Cleopatra

Kevo Arts

Cleopatra

Her story, her myth, her influence. Written and Directed by Kevo.

A beautifully written story, with a surprising ending. Everyone in the world should know this story, as it is a testament to the wisdom, grace, and wit that women must endure on their journey navigating the pressures placed on them.

From Kevo: "I wrote this after researching the most powerful women in history, and I have to tell this story. Cleopatra has a connection to Modern times that is often ignored.

The play challenges who controls legacy and reminds us that history is in our hands. Cleopatra confronts the myth of power, and like my other works, Cleopatra is not a biography - it's an artistic expression of history.

This event is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.
