MATCHBOX 3 is the larger of MATCH’s two black box theater spaces (with MATCHBOX 1 being the second). This highly flexible venue allows presenters to transform the space to suit their production, with moveable seating risers and adjustable audience capacity for a variety of staging configurations.

Common configurations include:

End Stage – Accommodates up to 123 audience members seated facing a stage area or projection screen.
Thrust Stage – Seats up to 144 audience members with seating on three sides of the stage.
Arena Stage – Accommodates up to 188 audience members with seating on all four sides of the stage.

The space can also be fully cleared to accommodate tables for seated events, receptions, or cabaret-style performances, making it suitable for both performances and special events.

All MATCH theaters are ADA compliant, and assisted listening systems are available in every theater. Audience members may check out headsets at the box office.
