Athena Dance Academy’s annual recital, Summer Shimmer!

The Academy is excited to be able to showcase the talents of both its recreational classes and award-winning competitive dance team. Starting in the Spring of 2020, Athena Dance has offered comprehensive dance programs for students of all ages and levels. Here, dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional teachers hailing from all over the world—from various language and cultural backgrounds— are fully committed to students’ dance training and development. This performance is about Wendy and her adventures through Neverland with her siblings and newfound free-spirited friends Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. They venture through this new world with beautiful magical creatures and many different curious beings.

This show will be performed by kids and adults of different abilities and disabilities and all proceeds will go to performers in need.Read more

Rūng Film Fest aims to create a platform that elevates voices often overlooked in mainstream cinema—creatives of color, by showcasing and awarding original stories told through the lens of Pakistani filmmakers that shatter stereotypes and challenge biases, promoting diversity and cultivating connections with the global creative community.

We’ve received more than 80 films in our inaugural year from filmmakers of Pakistani heritage from around the world and we’re excited to showcase the top selections by our jury of stellar actors, writers and filmmakers.

Grand Jury, Audience Choice, and Honorary awards will be distributed to the top 3 films in each category on May 4th and 5th at the awards ceremony in the evening.

Bayou City Ballet Youth Company presents Carnival of the Animals as part of their annual Spring Showcase. This performance features dancers of both the Youth Company and Bayou City Ballet School in classical, neoclassical, modern, and contemporary dance works.Read more
